Hi there! I am so happy you stumbled your way to my teaching website, including research, school projects, and some of my very favorite student teaching memories.

To help you gauge a better understanding of what makes me, well me, read on!

  1. One of the very best things to have occurred during the COVID-19 Pandemic was of course, getting a quarantine pet. Meet, Dunkin, or Sir Dunkin as my Kindergarten friends loved to call him. He is simply the best (and crazy!). He has recently become bonded to my roommate’s kitten and I don’t have the heart to tell him he will have to leave her soon when we move.
  2. I love love love love love the art of the Enneagram Personality test. I find it to be so accurate and simply amazing. I am forever trying to become more self aware and use this in my relationships with friends, families, and coworkers in order to better understand what makes them them.              Friendships with Each Enneagram Type
  3. My parents instilled a desire to see the world in me since I was young. My dad is German, so I grew up traveling a lot. Some of my favorite trips have been Peru, Hungary, and Scotland. This summer my family will go on our first Alaskan cruise, and I am very excited!
  4. I have a passion for instructing kids, and instructing participants for group fitness classes. I have taught Cardio Kickboxing, HIIT, Bootcamp, and F45 classes. I love to watch people experience the power of exercise.             .
  5. I have a thing for crazy earrings. I love to wear llama earrings, question mark earrings, LEGO earrings, rain earrings, etc, etc. You name it, and I probably have the earrings or will be on the way to find some to add to my collection.
  6. I love teaching. Through my Enneagram 2 heart (The Helper), I will make my classroom a safe space for all who enter. My kiddos will know they are loved, important, and protected. I believe that in order to learn, they must first know these things. Then the learning will come. Come and join me on my journey.
